Πιο συγκεκριμένα, το made in Japan JIDX CW Contest, το EU Spring Sprint CW, το Yuri Gagarin International DX Contest, το Hungarian Straight Key Contest, ακόμα και το SKCC Weekend Sprintathon, αναμένεται ότι θα εκτινάξουν το ενδιαφέρον των ραδιοερασιτεχνών στα ύψη και ότι οι μπάντες θα τρίξουν στην κυριολεξία από τα χειριστήρια και τα ... πληκτρολόγια, με το hi-hi!
Οι φίλοι του "μικροφώνου" θα έχουν την δυνατότητα να τρέξουν το OK/OM DX Contest, ενώ υπάρχει ακόμα ένας διαγωνισμός, ο International Vintage Contest HF για CW, SSB και ΑΜ modes, αφιερωμένος σε μηχανήματα, πομποδέκτες, παλαιών ετών. Οι συμμετέχοντες πρέπει να χρησιμοποιούν πομποδέκτες κατασκευής από το 1950 ως το 1982 (υπάρχουν κατηγορίες που είναι χωρισμένες σε δεκαετίες) ή με ιδιοκατασκευές!
